Safe Toys and Gifts Month

When you walk down those endless aisles looking for the perfect toy always make sure that it is age appropriate. Buying a toy with small removable pieces is not recommended for children of certain ages because there is a risk of choking. Certain types of toys and games for specific ages can help them in their developmental process and stimulate their ever growing minds. Always keep a close watch on your children while they are playing and inspect every toy before playtime.

Keeping up to date on toys and games that have been recalled is also imperative to your child's health and safety. Some toys have been recalled because of lead in the paint and need to be returned or discarded immediately. Quickly look online to make sure any new gifts this holiday season is safe and approved for your child.
